20 Minutes to Creativity and a better life

20 Minutes to Creativity and a better life

We are gearing up for this years Creative Control Fest. I am excited about this year’s CCF event. I just wanted to drop a note to encourage everyone to keep pushing. I am proud of the gains we have made in getting a jumpstart on this years planning. Just think, this is our Fourth Year! To give it another context, It’s been roughly 886 Days since our first event –> that’s 21, 264 Hrs and 1,275,840 Minutes. WOW! Think about how much we have been able to accomplish. Now, I know we haven’t spent 24/7 dedicated to just CCF and honestly, we shouldn’t, but those numbers are just a snapshot of approximately the amount of time since this CCF idea became a reality. And that is without having spent even 1/4th of the time aforementioned in putting on a phenomenal event. Needless to say WE HAVE AN AWESOME TEAM!! We all have dreams and ideas both individually and collectively. We believe in CFF and it’s effectiveness. I have personally have been challenging myself to be more productive in my day to day and overall goals and CCF is a part of that. The saying goes that “we are only as great as the sum of all our parts…” and you all are a part of me so I want extend this challenge to you. Let’s challenge ourselves to dedicating 20 minutes daily toward an actionable item for CCF, but not just CCF I want us to do the same toward one of our personal goals. I know that doesn’t seem like a long time or depending on our day it may seem like a long time either way I think if we can dedicate ourselves we will begin to see small wins turn into big wins. Many of us have a servants heart and tend to help other people build their dreams. Let’s take just a few minutes to build our own. What Does 20 minutes look like? (Set a timer) That’s a little over 1.5 hrs a week Sending an email Creating a list of potential vendors Starting a blog post Sketching a picture Writing a Rap Producing a song Working out or walking Writing a letter Reading a chapter of a book Paying a Bill The list goes on. This email took me about 20 minutes to write. Love yall and LET”S BUILD!!
