Mapack is the founder of NOK Empire a multifaceted production company and creative design agency with offices in Nigeria and the U.S.

Mapack Ron Mapis comes from a creative background, a graduate of the renowned Columbus College of Art and Design, U.S.A. He holds a M.A. in Film and Literature with a minor in Design. After spending 2 years at America’s largest publishing firm, McGraw Hill Companies, He said good bye to the corporate world and never looked back.

His next position will prove to be an ultimate test; as at 22 years of age he ascends to an executive management position in one of Ohio’s most distinguished architectural firms, making him not just the youngest person in the firm, but the youngest to ever hold such position. He serves in this capacity for another 2 years achieving both a Tuner Construction Award and a Senators Award, while at Machisa, he rejoined with some friends to resuscitate an old experiment he coined NOK, later remained MAPIS EMPIRE: An innovative agency with the simple goal of creating powerful original films, documentaries and shows that not just entertain but enlightens its audience. It’s first embarking, was an independent dark comedy entitled “The Missing Goat Meat.” The project galvanized the entire community involving both students and elders alike.

In 2009, Mapis became one of 8 recipients of the Ohio Creative artiest grant for his role as the writer, director, producer of the film.
