Chris Crump, proud owner of Strand Cafe Ultra Salon, is a Columbus Ohio native who has been licensed for eleven years and is located in one trendiest neighborhoods– the short north arts district.

Chris quickly began her professional career after high school with ambition, tenacity and a fast forward outlook. After a little over a decade of hard work she has established herself as a successful businesswoman. She developed a love for art and creativity as a child which matured into a profession of enhancing the imagery of the everyday woman.

With her hairstyling work experience ranging from large chain salons to your typical everyday salon, she honed her own niche to help assist the average woman to obtain their own impeccable beauty. Chris utilized her experience and creative style to open her own salon, Strand Cafe. What better place to start her brand then in Columbus’ arts district, The Short North. With her enact for innovative salon concepts and events, the Strand Cafe has serves as an artistic outlet for the entire culture of beauty. With hosting events, Strand Cafe’s main objective is to provide new and innovative ways to educate and market skin, hair, and nail care to clients.

Highlighting her staff as artistic and not just talented, Strand Cafe caters to a diverse clientele and embrace all cultures and styles .

Chris’s list of clientele is diverse and would be considered Columbus’s elite. Chris works with Columbus area media personalities print and high fashion photographers as well as well known editorial publications. With her artistic and innovative outlook on beauty paving her career, her ambitions on beauty consulting and most importantly mentorship are underway.

As a young woman on my journey in entrepreneurship I’ve learned my passion goes beyond hairstyling and owning a salon. My ultimate goal is to elevate the expectations of the beauty industry in my market. Through great sacrifice and discipline my passion has given me the power to enhance the beauty industry now while influencing the new beauty industry leaders for the future.
