A small kid with a huge imagination to create. Ever since the sixth grade Michael has known he wanted to create comics. After honing his craft at Cleveland School of the Arts, He took his talents to Columbus College of Art and Design. After a back and forth run with Marvel Comics who ultimately told him, “ You’re good, but your work is to Urban” , Mike decided to self publish his own book called Hotshot which features a black super-hero loosely base on his life and experience. Michael Watson was the first member of the Rayman Power Hour Comic book hall of Fame, initiating the first published comic at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He has Created and managed the art program for the Columbus Boys and Girls club. Mike continues to publish his critically acclaimed and award winning Independent Hotshot Comic. He also is currently freelancing illustration, graphic design, teaching while hosting his own online radio show which he reviews movies, comics, and toys. Mike is determined to create until his final day.
